29 JAN, 2018, Bandung, Indonesia: Akhyar, the head of Pangkalan village, Cihaur sub district, West Bandung commenting on the health problems of residents as a result of river pollution. The Citarum river in West Java, Indonesia is listed as one of the most polluted rivers in the world. It will soon be the main water supply system for Jakarta as the bores that have been dug into the aquifers dry but it also supports agriculture, fishery, industry, sewerage and electricity.
