Fourteen year old Feroz Nikhad working in his uncle's foundry in Kabul. He toils for hours in the morning before school and again at the end of the day. The meagre income he produces supplements his fathers wage in supporting his six brothers and sisters. Street life in the Afghan capital of Kabul is full of interesting faces whose experience is often etched deep into the eyes. The exception being the women , whose eyes a casual observer rarely sees. Despite the ongoing struggle between radical Islamists and the moderate sections of Afghan society - and of course the coalition forces- the hospitality and vibrance of the locals is exhuberant. It has been centuries of struggle for these people and nothing, it seems , can break their spirit.
