6 May 2009, Kabul, Afghanistan: Wool for a rug is hung to dry at  Arzu Rugs of Kabul, Afghanistan. Arzu  support women weavers in provincial Afghanistan providing incentives such as  cash bonuses for sold products as well as literacy programs. Workers dye wool in vats of boiling water with a variety of herbs and spices added to provide colour. The wool is then hung out on racks to dry at Arzu's headquarters before it is woven. Finally it id shaved then washed with soap and dried in the sun. Picture by Graham Crouch
