A Royal Bengal tiger emerges from the long grass at Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh, in central India. The Park boasts one of the most densely populated tiger areas in India drawing tourists from the world over to go on safari. Chittal, leopards, Langur monkeys and abundant bird life also thrive here in the parks wetlands and grassy plains. The Park closes for monsoon from July 1 to October 1.
