New and Hybrid Realities in the Artworld -A Survey of Indian and Australian Contemporary Female Artists. Curated by Marnie Dean and commissioned by Dilip Narayanan and Sanjay Tulysan, the exhibition features a diversity of works by both established and emerging artists at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Aussie artists are on display at India's first Biennale in Kerala. The Biennale curators travelled Down Under to select an exciting group of artists to take part in this celebration of contemporary art from around the world, which is expected to become one of Asia's best arts events. The Biennale acknowledges the cosmopolitan modernity of Kochi and the international connections established by the ancient port of Muziris that existed 30km north of Kerala's current commercial capital.
