Local man Aziz Shah stands by a crater resulting from in a Pakistani air strike. The explosion destroyed a madrassa and a mosque as well as several houses at Nawagai village in the troubled Buner District of Pakistan's North West Frontier Province. The Pakistani army claims to have driven the Taliban from the area and many people are leaving the refugee camps in Swabi and heading home. Reports of continuing Taliban presence in the area continue to surface however and it is clear the area is still far from safe and secure.
