A mere village at the time of his birth it is today a a thriving town centered around the Prashanti Nilayam Ashram devoted to Sai Baba and his teachings. It includes a state of the art free hospital, university and schools funded by donations from devotees. In the wake of his death who controls the funds and how the town will be affected by his absence remains unresolved. Picture by Graham Crouch
